World Choral Day Gala in Lisbon on November 30, 2018
Published: Dec 31,2018

On November 30, 2018, IFCM organized its first World Choral Day gala concert in Lisbon, Portugal, more precisely at the concert hall of Casino Estoril, thanks to the generosity of Mr. Choi Man Hin, CEO of the casino.

Five local choirs joined together to celebrate the joy of singing: The Youth Choir of the University of Lisbon, conducted by Erica Mandillo; Jasmim Molihua, conducted by Carlos Silva; Ricercare, conducted by Pedro Teixeira; Musaico, conducted by Tiago Marques and Cantares de Evora, conducted by Fernando Costa.

The IFCM Executive Committee, present at the concert, was honoured with the presence of the Ambassadors of the People’s Republic of China, of Guatemala and of Israel in Portugal. Each choir receives an award for their participation in the World Choral Day 2018.

Our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this possible!
