European Choral Association - Europa Cantat: Sing Me In Project
Published: Dec 31,2018

Did you know that 65% of choirs want to contribute to social integration?
But almost half of them do not fully reach this aim!*

To help the sector, 11 organisations joined forces over the last two years.
They developed four handbooks to help conductors, teachers and organisations use collective singing as a tool for the integration of young migrants:

  • Singing with groups of young refugees
  • Including young people with migrant background in existing choirs
  • Working in a school environment
  • Repertoire guide

In the handbooks, you will find practical tips, examples of good practices, ideas on how to overcome the most common challenges, stories and testimonials. Through the repertoire guide, you will access a curated list of relevant songs and musical games and many videos to help you set up activities.
