Published: Nov 30,2020

The celebration for the 10th anniversary of CHORALP, an international choir festival in the Southern Alps, was planned for 2020. CHORALP and À Cœur Joie International now offer you the opportunity to participate in a belated anniversary celebration in 2021! From 24-31July 2021, CHORALP will be held in Briançon, France, the heart of the Southern Alps.

Open to all singers over 18 years of age (individual participants) or above 15 years of age for those in established choirs, this is a unique week of meeting singers and choirs around two exceptional workshops:

  • King David (Arthur Honegger, 1921), for soli, mixed choir, and orchestra conducted by Valérie Fayet (France)
  • Vespers (Sergei Rachmaninov, 1915) - excerpts conducted by Marie-Claude Remy (Belgium)

Participating choirs will have the opportunity to perform their own repertoire at one or two evening concerts.

Optional accommodations in comfortable residences are available close to the rehearsal locations.
