In three months, the World Symposium on Choral Music 2026 will be held in Macau, China and we hope to see many of you there!
We kindly ask you to read this email carefully since it contains important information regarding the Elections of the new Board of Directors, President and Internal Auditor of IFCM, as well as details on the General Assembly 2026!
The Elections will be held fully ONLINE, BEFORE the General Assembly and the results of the elections will be announced LIVE at the General Assembly in Macau, China.

We kindly ask you to fill out THIS ELECTION REGISTRATION FORM no later than 15 June 2026. If you do not fill it out, you will not be able to vote.

ONLINE ELECTIONS:
Once you have completed the Election Registration Form and if your membership fee has been paid, you will receive an email on 16 June 2026 from a platform called ElectionRunner with instructions on how to vote for your chosen candidates. This platform has been used by our Federation for the same purpose in the past and can assure you of fair and anonymous voting in accordance with IFCM’s bylaws and voting procedures. Once voting begins, you will have exactly one month to cast your votes.

Please have in mind that candidates are listed alphabetically with a note on the region of the world they are representing.
VOTING RIGHTS AND REMINDER:
According to the IFCM Bylaws and Membership Policy Document, the Board of Directors (Bylaws, Points 4.1 and 4.2) will consist of not fewer than seven (7) and not more than nineteen (19) voting Directors. The Directors shall consist of the following:
In order to ensure a fair geographical representation, at least one elected Board member shall represent each of the following regions of the world (Membership Policy Document, point 4.2):

Each Member Association and Choir listed above in 2.2.a-d shall be required to appoint an individual to vote on behalf of their respective Membership; such individual shall be known as a Delegate. Each Member must provide the name of the Delegate voting on its behalf to the Office Manager of IFCM (this will have to be done by a document you will be asked to upload in the registration form). GENERAL ASSEMBLY:
Our live General Assembly will be held on the first day of the World Symposium on Choral Music, 23 August 2026 in the afternoon (Time TBC), at the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre. All IFCM members are warmly invited to join our General Assembly. However, in order to participate we kindly ask you to fill out THIS GENERAL ASSEMBLY REGISTRATION FORM.
