My team and I are conducting international research into the professional practices of group singing leaders, with a particular focus on the health and wellbeing of their singers. We’re hoping to better understand the specific non-music-related challenges faced by group singing leaders, and to determine whether they are interested in receiving training in areas such as health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and leadership. Our eventual aim is to design professional development workshops or programs for group singing leaders in these areas.
